Dr. Williams on Optimal Office:
“This brilliantly conceived device, built into the side of the computer mouse, continually detects through biosensors, the users stress level and compares it to a previously determined baseline. In addition, random pop up windows offer quick and simple exercises such as breathing, stretching or even longer trainings if the user desires. This created a frequent feedback loop of the users stress, increases their in the moment awareness of current situations that effect their stress level, and offers an intermittent reinforcement schedule of learning. Anyone who has ever gambled in Las Vegas knows the power of intermittent reinforcement. In this case, reinforcement changes behavior in a positive way.”
